Nigerian lawyer dressed in traditional native doctor attire storms Court

Human Rights Lawyer, Chief Malcolm Omirhobo, stormed the Supreme Court of Nigeria dressed in native doctor attire, after the apex court ruled that Muslim students can wear Hijab to schools in Lagos.

According to reports, when the Learned Lawyer walked into the Supreme Court, the Justices who were on seat looked up in shock, looked at themselves and without a word, went on recess.

In an interview he granted few minutes later, Chief Omirhobo stated that since the Supreme Court has ruled last week that students could wear Hijab to schools in Lagos, that means the Court has given every religion a right to dress the way the believers wish to dress and that he has decided to dress like a traditionalist/native doctor from now on to court since the Supreme Court has given religious freedom to all religions!

The lawyer sat at the front row of the court where all the justices can see him adorning his Juju priest attire.

A senior advocate of Nigerian, Kay Enitan SAN, who reported the protest described the scene as follows:

“Today being 23/06/2022 a drama was staged and showcased by Chief Malcolm E. Omirhobo in the Supreme court of Nigeria Abuja. He had the day as the Supreme was astounded, astonished and was short of words. The air was heavy today in supreme court. Because of this man, Supreme court was forced to go into recess to reconstitute. Note that when he entered, the supreme court justices had already gone on recess. So, the man entered before the justices returned from recess and met him in the open court. They were shocked but pretended and never contended. SC managed to hear 1 appeal and struck it out for an invalid notice of appeal. Then, they embarked on another compulsory recess because of Chief Malcolm. He had disrupted the supreme’s sitting today 23/6/2022 without saying a word or taking action. Just a message he passed kept restless. And the supreme court uttered no word. They just go up and left. The world covered the events including lawyers in the court. Let supreme court justices go and THINK”
