He urged political leaders to be more patriotic, lead by example and show more dedication in the task of building a more humane, egalitarian and workable nation even as he harped on the continued unity and peaceful coexistence among the diverse ethnic nationalities.

Dr Efeizomor II tasked Nigerians not to despair over the harsh economic situation in the country but look forward to a better and brighter future.

Reflecting on the outgoing year, the Owa Monarch urged Nigerians to continue to display greater resilience and doggedness in facing the challenges of Nation building.

He remarked that 2025 was particularly a difficult year for most Nigerians occasioned by multi dimensional socio- economic and Security challenges and specifically enjoined the Nation’s political leaders to rise up to the task of fixing the country adding that only Nigerians could fix Nigeria.

He admonished Nigerian youths not to waver in their faith in the country saying that they should look up to the future with the determination to succeed in what ever field of human endeavor they found themselves.

On insecurity the Monarch called on the Federal Government to corporate with the United States in the effort to decisively tackle the intractable case of insurgency, banditry and other forms of criminal activities bedeviling the nation .

He commented the media for leaving up to their constitutional responsibilities of being the watch dog of the nation, urging them not to relent on their role as the forth arm of government.
