Anambra Legislator, Dr Cater Umeh, receives African Medallion for excellence in advancing State legislation and policies

Nigerian phenomenal Anambra State House of Assembly member, Dr Cater Dike Nnamdi Umeh, Representing Aguata 1 Constituency, Anambra State was awarded the 2022 African Medallion in recognition of his career in public service and outstanding contribution in pursuing legislations that build bridges between the people, the government, politics and economic development.

The legislator was honored with the prestigious award during the 5th annual TimeAfrica Medal of honour ceremony on June 28, 2022 at the National Awards Merit House Abuja – Nigeria.

Dr. Umeh was among this year’s recipients of the Africa Medallion.
He is a revered legislator whose words are held in high regard. He pulled no punches, yet he is authentic to the core and a champion of our democracy.

Eminent visionary thinker, renowned educationist, and passionate nationalist, Dr. Umeh is widely respected for his contribution to Anambra’s development.

In his years in legislative chamber, his has been bursting with charisma, making himself a truly meaningful source of benefits and wellbeing across board. It won him the hearts and minds of many unbiased people across the globe and flowers of accolades continue to be showered on him

As intellectual prowess and Chairman House Committee on Health, Dr Umeh has prioritized the health and well-being of Anambra’s citizens. His commitment to health earned him the admiration and appreciation of Anambraians who share his passion and commitment.

He has developed political career with a reputation for his intellect and quiet approach to legislating. He championed many causes legislatively and administratively which have positioned the State for better economic prosperity and security.
He introduced legislations that
addressed unemployment and more infrastructure that makes State a reference in commerce, agriculture and Industry.
