The Grassroots Newspaper Publishers Network of Nigeria (GNPN) Delta State Council, has faulted the news report indicting a popular Realtor and Real Estate guru per excellence, businessman from Ibusa, and the Chairman of Hen-Ric Empire’s Garden Limited, Chief Lucky Abuah as a Gun-Runner, Cultist and a Land Grabber.

A body called Oodua Integrity Group who accused Chief Abuah through their South -South coordinator, Tosin Olaluwa, had in a report accused Chief Abuah, popularly known as Bullet Empire of Gun- Running Cultist and Land Grabber operating in Asaba and Ibusa in Delta State. The group also accused Chief Abuah, a respected Realtor and Real Estate guru from Ibusa to be heavily involved in stockpiling dangerous weapons including AK-47 in Asaba and Ibusa.

But, reacting to the report, the Grassroots Newspaper Publishers Network of Nigeria (GNPN) Delta Council in a statement signed by the Secretary Comrade Precious Eurgo and made available to journalists in Asaba, the Delta State capital, on Tuesday 28th April,2025, declared that the report was misleading, aimed at destroying and tarnishing the good image of the Chairman of Hen-Ric Empire’s Garden Limited, Chief Lucky Abuah.

“Hen-Ric Empire’s Garden Limited, is a Real Estate firm, Marketing, investment, and development company situated in Asaba, Delta State Nigeria. They are duly registered under the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria with REG: 1874198. Hen-Ric Empire’s Garden Limited, operating with a high level of dignity, integrity, and efficiency in all their services and their services cut across property marketing, property investing, property consulting, and property development.

Chief Abuah is a legitimate member of Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State. He is never a member of any cult group but does his businesses legally with integrity. And due to the insecurity plaguing the nation, Delta State inclusive, he applied for Police protection which was duly granted.
All their properties are legally documented, thereby free from government acquisition, land grabbers’ troublemakers, or any sort of encumbrances.

“Chief Lucky Abuah, the Chairman of Hen-Ric Empire’s Garden Limited is not a Gun-Runner, Cultist or Land Grabber, but one of Nigeria’s reputable Real Estate mogul and Realtor who carries out his legitimate work of Real Estate in accordance with the extant laws guiding the sector, among others and he has not been found wanting or posing any security threat to either his community or its environs.

“The investigation carried out by the Oodua Integrity Group was done to create disaffection, tarnishing of the image the person of Chief Lucky Abuah because the source(s) of their information is/are questionable. How on earth would an individual or group that claimed to be from South-South zone of Nigeria claimed to have interrogated certain people in the community about the activities of Chief Abuah without interfacing with the Community Newspaper Journalists and Publishers who are well grounded in Community reportage?

“The assertion that Chief Lucky Abuah had been posing serious security threat to his community and nothing happened to him is a baseless and misleading statement. “The reporter should not usurp the work of the security agents who have nothing incriminating against Chief Lucky Abuah as he does his business as a reputable real Estate mogul and Realtor carrying out his legitimate work of Real Estate in accordance to the law of Nigeria.

We called on the general public and the security agents to disregard the misleading information of Oodua Integrity Group through Liberty TV media, who accused Chief Abuah of orchestrating criminal activities with the aid of rogue police officers and also exploiting government security agents to perpetrate crimes in Ibusa and its environs. It is a known fact that Liberty TV and other media houses were paid to air wrong information about Chief Lucky Abuah just to defame his personality because of his rising popularity among his peers. Chief Abuah is a well known philanthropist who has touched the lives of many homes in Ibusa, Asaba and its environs.

It will also be highly laughable for Oodua Group to say that 10 Mobile Police officers are attached to Chief Abuah. Even the Delta State Police Commissioner does not have such a number of police officers attached to him.

The incident was purported on the publication that security agents from an agency in Abuja, acting on intelligence, were prevented from arresting Chief Abuah by his police escorts. This is not true and highly misleading. Besides, the writer would have stated the correct security agency that came from Abuja that acted on intelligence.

Chief Abuah poses no threat to anybody or community because he was recently honoured by the Grassroots Newspaper Publishers Network of Nigeria( GNPN)Delta State Council in a conference held in Asaba for his philanthropy and Community development initiatives over the years. Will Oodua Group tell the Delta story more than Community Newspaper Publishers who reside with the people?

The reason why the Nigerian Police Force are yet to respond to such a misleading report is that Chief Abuah is well known to them and would amount to injustice on him if the police act on such a negative report on an innocent man.
