The candidacy of Senator Monday Akpakomiza for the 2024 Edo State governorship election has been described as the choice for the right time to occupy the Executive Governor’s office at Osadebe House, Benin come September.

Speaking at the APC Secretariat yesterday in Uromi while declaring unalloyed support of the entire Edo Central, APC Party stalwart who was formerly a PDP Party Chieftain and political associate of late Chief Tony Anenih, Chief Henry Iriogbe, the Ezomon in-council of Uromi kingdom said this are no other better candidates prepared for the job than Akpakomiza.

Along with his teaming supporters at the well attended declaration, Iriogbe asserted further that “through personal interactions with him, I have come to know him as a youthful man full of energy, wisdom and political will committed to re-directing Edo State to the part of progress from the boundage of PDPs inflicted political and economic injuries.”

He went further to say that Akpakomiza is a square peg in a square hole. And invariably, a vote for him as Governor is a vote for success and prosperity in Edo state, a vote for him as Governor is a vote for empowerments in Edo state and a vote for him as Governor is a vote for a prosperous Edo Central”.

He therefore opined that Senator Akpakomiza is the ‘right governorship choice for the right time” to occupy the Executive Governor’s office at Osadebe House, Benin come September. He went further to urge Esans, and the whole of Edo state to vote massively in favour of Akpakomiza and APC in the forthcoming guber election to rescue Edo State from the deplorable socio-economic pangs of Obaseki and PDP administration.

Campaigning further for Akpokomiza, he said frankly and truthfully that Senator Akpakomiza needs no introduction in the politics of Nigeria, in the Politics of Edo state and in the Politics of Esan land in particular because he has sufficiently worked as a loyal and committed party chieftain in lifting the fortunes of Edo state and Esan land to the next level. And today, beside him being a distinguished senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the governorship candidate of our party APC, his actions and inactions has always empitomizes the Renewed Hope Agenda of Our Nation.”

Addressing the supporters, the Executive Chairman of Esan North East LGA, Chief Ezomon said in the political landscape of Edo State, where political leaders often seem to blend into the background of zero political principles, Senator Akpakomiza stands out not only for his political talk-and-do prowess but also for his remarkable personal approachability qualities that have endeared him to the hearts of many in our land.
