Enugu Commissioner Dr Lawrence Ezeh Expresses Optimism About the State’s Future Under the APC

The Enugu State Commissioner for Science and Technology, Engr. Prince Lawrence Ezeh, has expressed confidence that airline travel and operations will soon be a brisk business in Enugu, with airline companies rolling out more operations in the city.

Engr Ezeh, in a statement also said that Enugu is a consequential city in the Nigeria, and open for business.

The Commisioner stated this at the commissioning of the office of Wakanow Travel Tech Company in Enugu.

The engineer revealed that this was the first time that such a foremost air travel organisation is opening it’s office anywhere in the old Eastern region of Nigeria.

“This is not coming by accident but by the intentional efforts of His Excellency, Dr Peter Mbah to provide ease of doing business in Enugu State which has opened the state to business for all and sundry”, he said.

Engr Ezeh maintained Gov Mbah has rolled out a clear vision in commercial growth, revealing that with the level of engagement the state government is presently having with airline investors, both international and local, discussions are at advanced stage to get other international airline operators, to join Ethiopian Airlines and commence operations at Akanu Ibiam International Airport Enugu.

This he said, will beef up Wakanow revenue, and also increase internally generated revenue in the State, which will aid the State Government to provide social amenities to the people.

He also reiterated the state government’s readiness to partner with Wakanow.com in the training of youths in airline ticketing for the smooth operations of both local and international airline companies in the state.

In his response, Wakanow’s Regional Manager, Chikeka Michael expressed appreciation to the Commissioner for finding time despite his tight schedule to honour their invitation.

He said their entrance into the Enugu business space was as a result of extreme demand by customers in the region.

Wakanow Tech Company is an Air Travel Company which has it’s office in every major city in the country and they are all over the world.
