Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has revealed that she intends to return to her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, in a bid to ensure the safety of her family and the release of her brother, Samuel ‘Sammy West’ Daniels.

In a series of emotional posts shared on Friday, the actress accused the billionaire politician of using his influence to persecute her family following her brother’s arrest and an alleged arrest warrant reportedly issued against her mother, Rita Daniels.

Appearing distraught in a video uploaded to her social-media page, Regina lamented being mocked online while battling emotional distress.

“It’s okay to laugh — people say when she was flaunting wealth, were we enjoying it with her? But nobody flaunts their sadness because of this very reason — mockery,” she said tearfully.
“As long as you were not in my shoes, you would never understand. What were you expecting me to show off, that I was being beaten? That I was sad? No. I think I will break this phone.”

Earlier, the actress had posted a lengthy message expressing despair over her brother’s continued detention, alleging police corruption and political interference.

“I give up! What was my brother’s offense? Fighting for his baby sister because his in-law would always beat her up? I actually accorded the Nigerian police some respect, but shame on you all! It’s obvious the highest bidder always wins. Now I’m crippled! I will return if that’s the only way — do whatever he says, get injected to be like a zombie, get locked up and raped in the house. Only then will my brother return. Because by law, there is no tangible case against Sammy West. Ned Nwoko is bigger than the whole of Nigeria — that’s what this means. We lost, or rather, I lost!”

Regina also shared a screenshot of a message she claimed was from her mother, stating: “Ned has issued an arrest warrant against me. I should be arrested on or before Monday.”

The ongoing tension reportedly began after Sammy West allegedly confronted Senator Nwoko over claims of domestic violence against his sister. He was later arrested and allegedly transferred from Lagos to Abuja under unclear circumstances.

According to Regina, the arrest was meant to intimidate her into returning to her husband’s home and undergoing “rehabilitation” for alleged substance abuse — a claim previously denied by Nwoko.

As of press time, Senator Nwoko has yet to publicly respond to the actress’s latest accusations.
