“Tired of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and People Democratic Party (PDP)? Fed up with the unabated corruption, embezzlement and under-performance of successive government in Nigeria? Don’t be despaired”, asserts, Engr Godwin Nkeabu, a stalwart of the African Democratic Congress Party.

Engr Nkeabu who featured in an exclusive interview with Editor of TimeAfrica, in Asaba – Nigeria said ahead of 2023 general election in the country his party is dedicated to electing citizens who want to serve their people at all levels of government – and make accountability, honest leadership, and solutions the cornerstones of their service.

He said the party will better represent people political philosophies and ideology more than any other political party in the country.

He emphasized that ADC has come stronger at a time of increasing dissatisfaction with the major parties; voters appear to be shopping for alternatives, both nationally and on the state level.

According to him, ADC is the alternative political party in Nigeria. “We seek to build a political infrastructure that can match the APC and PDP in votes and offices held without succumbing to the special interests and self-serving behaviour that has corrupted Nigeria’s government.

“Our commitment to voters is that ADC candidates will adopt and maintain a servant’s mentality when elected – serving the people we represent, regardless of political party. As part of that service, all elected ADC party officials will work to find the best solutions to the challenges we face,” he said.

Likening how ADC will take the center-stage of the Nigeria sphere, the Britain based construction engineer, recounted the two dominant political parties in American in 1840s, Liberty and Free Soil parties, were faced out to obscurity because the American people got fade-up with the unpatriotic policies.

He asserted that the structural background and policies of the two dominant political parties in Nigeria has nosedived the country into shadows and underdevelopment, stating that, “these barriers at play today in Nigeria are even more important for explaining why the old parties cannot be accepted by Nigerians in 2023 onward. ADC is on a rescue mission and Nigerians should join us to build the country of our dreams.”
