Nollywood actor, Junior Pope reportedly revived after he was drown

Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo is reportedly still alive after he was drown in the River Niger while returning from movie location and reported dead. Videos making rounds online showed the actor seated on the bare floor after he was revived by the crowd as they fanned him ceaselessly while the actor gasped for breath.

Another clip shows the actor being carried by the crowd with people suggesting that he was being taken to Josephine Hospital Asaba, Delta State, where is said to be still battling with his life.

As of time of writing this report, there is no any official statement from the family apart from the videos that was trending online.

Recall that Junior Pope Odonwodo, a popular Nollywood actor, was pronounced dead after his boat overturned in a river on his way to a movie shoot.

According to rumours, the actor drowned only hours after posting a video of himself on a boat on Instagram.

He was heard on film appealing with the boat rider to slow down since he was the only child raised by his parents and wanted to raise his three children on his own.

He stated that he was filming himself in the middle of the river Niger, showing the danger that movie stars take to entertain their fans.
