Asaba, NIGERIA — The Obi of Ejeme Aniogor Kingdom, publicly praised Chief Uchenna Okafor, the Director General of the Taskforce and Monitoring of the Commercial Motorcycle and Tricycles Operators (COMTOA), for his pivotal role in enhancing the orderliness of the tricycle transport system, popularly known as “Keke,” in Asaba.

During a visit yesterday, the Obi acknowledged Chief Okafor’s dedication to ensuring a regulated and efficient transport system that benefits the State.

“Your efforts have not only brought structure to the Keke transport system but have also contributed significantly to community development initiatives,” Obi stated.

He noted that the Taskforce’s initiatives under Chief Uchenna Okafor have been instrumental in addressing the chaos that often accompanies unregulated transport systems, thereby enhancing safety for both operators and passengers.

He reiterated his commitment to align the transport system with the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda, which aims to improve public transportation across the state.

“We will continue to implement measures that will enhance the Keke transport system, ensuring it meets the needs of our citizens while promoting safety and order,” he assured.
