Uchenna Okafor Congratulates Prof. Epiphany Azinge, 14th Asagba of Asaba

Uchenna Okafor, Director General of the Commercial Tricycles and Motorcycles Operators Association Task-force and Monitoring, (COMTOA) has extended his warm congratulations to Prof. Epiphany Azinge, OON, SAN, as the 14th Asagba of Asaba.

Prof. Azinge, a distinguished legal scholar and public servant, was officially announced as the new Asagba in early August 2024. His emergence marks a new chapter in the storied history of Asaba, a city renowned for its rich cultural heritage and community leadership.

The role of Asagba, a traditional title of significant cultural and civic importance, entails both the stewardship of local traditions and the promotion of community development. Prof. Azinge succeeds his predecessor in a position that holds great responsibility and promise for the future of Asaba.
